Huntsman Heroes is a program that brings together individuals dedicated to going the extra mile to create a future free from cancer. The program is made up of people who participate in athletic events and raise money for Huntsman Cancer Institute. One hundred percent of every dollar raised goes directly to doctors and researchers who, with your help, are changing the course of cancer research, treatment, and prevention.

More than $6MM raised since 2003 through Huntsman Heroes because people like you!

This program matters to the University of Utah Health Salt Lake City Marathon, and the Huntsman Cancer Institute matters to this community. This year, dedicate your run to cancer research.

PROGRAM DETAILS & TEAM BENEFITS

Become part of the Huntsman Heroes program and receive the following:

  • Team jersey
  • Running/walking and cycling coaches
  • Fundraising assistance
  • Entry into our Salt Lake City Marathon event of choice
  • Putting the funds you raise to work immediately in cancer research

Participants must commit to the following:

  • Paying a non-refundable team fee
  • Training for and running in the University of Utah Health Salt Lake City Marathon event
  • Raising the minimum required amount ($500 for Marathon, Half Marathon and Bike Tour | $250 for 10K or 5K)
  • Expanding Huntsman Cancer Foundation’s “Circle of Hope” by telling friends and family
  • Having fun!
