The Salt Lake City Marathon is coming up on April 18. Now is the time to start training, but running is not the only aspect of getting fit for this fight to the finish line.
Triathlon and running coach Lora Erikson and Jennifer Nelson, the Salt Lake City Marathon Marketing Director, joined us to explain the nutrition do’s and don’ts. They also gave us various tips on what to eat on the days leading up to the race, what to eat the day of the race, and what to eat to get through this 26.2 mile run. There are six events to choose from including the Marathon, Half Marathon, Bike Tour, 5k, 10k Skate and Kids Marathon.
